Regionals season is almost here!

Did you podium last year? Place in the top 5? Have you been photographed with your trophy and sash?

4 Reasons to have a photoshoot to celebrate your regionals accomplishments!

1) You are going to have to give back that big beautiful trophy.

It’s such an accomplishment to be one of a historic group of dancers who have won it. Don’t forget to commemorate this huge success with a photoshoot. Don’t look back and regret not photographing this moment.

2) It’s easy to quickly move on to the next competition goal.

Take a moment and really soak in what you have accomplished. Be in the here and now.

3) Celebrate you and your love for dance.

It’s okay to indulge and acknowledge your hard work. Let yourself be pampered!

Client Spotlight ft. Amy Viens

I caught up with Amy’s mom Deb to chat all things dance photoshoot!

Why did you want to do a photoshoot?

My daughter, Amy, retired from competitive Irish dancing this year and we wanted to celebrate her career. This past year Amy won the New England Oireachtas, placed 5th at the U.S. Nationals, and realized her dream of recalling at Worlds, placing 18th in Belfast. She has always wanted to have a photoshoot with you, so we thought this was a perfect gift.

Amy’s confidence grew after seeing her photos…you helped her see what she has never been able to see on her own.

Why did you choose me as your photographer?

Your photos are elegant, stunning, and capture dancers at the perfect moments. Dancers look confident and natural in their photos, and you choose such dynamic locations.

How did you feel about your experience before, during, and after the photoshoot?

You made the process very easy, and you even accommodated us regarding our concern for rain on our scheduled date. Your input regarding outfits led to stunning photographs of Amy, and you answered our questions so quickly. Amy really wanted to be photographed in NYC, but was unsure because she is shy and did not know how she would do in such public places. You put Amy and ease and made her feel so special.

What was your favorite part of the photoshoot experience?

Seeing my daughter shine and having her love of dance and accomplishments preserved in cherished photographs. We had so much fun with you. You are professional and so down-to-earth; we loved being in NYC with you and seeing you do what you do best.
